Uganda Airlines has clarified that recent disruptions affecting its London route were caused by a technical issue on one of its aircraft.

The national carrier explained that the problem, which occurred at Heathrow Airport, led to unavoidable delays and rescheduling of flights.

The airline said its engineering team, together with international partners, quickly intervened to resolve the malfunction. “Safety remains our top priority, and we could not compromise on this matter,” Uganda Airlines stated.

Passengers affected by the disruption were provided with assistance, including rebooking and accommodation where necessary. The carrier apologized for the inconvenience and assured travelers that it is working to minimize future disruptions.
