Police in Entebbe is investigating former Uganda Airlines’ Capt Darlington Omamteker’s family including the wife and daughter over trespassing into the neighbor’s compound and dumping garbage.
The trio including Rosemary Omamteker also Entebbe junior school director are facing arrest after trespassing on the land belonging to Peace Barigye along the Uringi crescent road in Entebbe municipality.
It’s alleged that on the 7th/Sept/2022, Rosemary Omamteker and others including three hired men carried hard stones and tree chopped logs the neighbor’s compound and vanished into thin air.
“Peace Barigye found them at around 6:30pm carrying trash including tree logs plus hard stones into her compound from their site below overlooking the S.D Kabuye complex along the Uringi crescent.
This follows a series of ugly events that have unfolded after Capt Omamteker’s wife claiming a small piece on land between plot 31A &31B and these events include uprooting the neigbour’s flowers.
This is the second time Capt. Omamteker’s wife and daughter are surviving being arrested by police after a series of ugly events including removing the main gate on addition to verbal artillery.
The matter has been reported to several different offices including the RDC’s, Police and local authourities including the municipal council that has suspended all the developments on the controversial land.
However this is not the first time, Rosemary Kiiza Omamteker is embroiled into land wrangles after a land saga where she ‘forcefully’ closed off a whole village road leading to Kiwafu East zone area which made locals to ‘hate’ her for life.
However, the proprietor of the Entebbe Junior school, Rosemary Omamteker, said they had compensated the residents and had asked the municipality to construct an alternative road.
Former the state minister for economic monitoring, Vincent Nyanzi, ordered the former Entebbe deputy town clerk Amon Muzoora (RIP) to compensate the residents of Kitoro, Kiwafu East whose road was closed because of the construction of the school gate.
Meanwhile we have highly established that one Magomu Yunus was recently arrested and remanded at Kigo prisons after disguising to be a police officer after threatening and plotting a series of ugly events that have forced one Peace Barigye to fear for life under police file no. CRB:128/2022.
