Self-styled city lawyer Hassan Male Mabirizi has lost his father Muhammad Bazinduse Mutumba Ganaafa, who succumbed to Covid19 last weekend.
In the same week, Mabirizi lost two of his sisters who were staying with the father.
Another two relatives are still admitted in the intensive care unit battling the deadly virus.
According to Mabirizi, the family members took long to realize that the father had the virus.
“He had some other health complications but he had steadily recovered but unfortunately Covid attacked him. People around him treated it as a normal sickness something that could have led to its spread among other family members.”
On the burial arrangement, Mabirizi says the family is in the process of transferring the body from Entebbe where he died from to Mulago hospital for further management
Later on it will be taken to Ndeese in Mukono for burial
But as per the Presidential directives stand, a few individuals (close family members) will be allowed to attend.
