    Outgoing LC3 Chairman On the Spot Over Hooliganism

    Outgoing divisional chief  at zone ‘A’ and mayoral aspirant is under fire  to answer charges of hooliganism and inciting violence.

    Micheal Kabwama Mutebi Nyamayalwo is cursing why he was born to suffer after being summoned at the Kireka special investigation department over inciting violence in Entebbe.

    In a letter dated 4th/March/2021 and signed by the special investigations deputy director Odong Mark, the outgoing division chairman was summoned to Kireka special investigations unit over the hooliganism and violence that was ‘filmed’ after losing the mayoral race.

    Michael Kabwama organized  hundreds of the ruling party supporters and walked to the streets contesting  the win of one mayoral contestant Fabrice Rulinda in the recently concluded mayoral elections where the incumbent also lost the seat after 10yrs in office.

    The letter indicates that  the outgoing division chairman  was expected to report to the special investigations office on Tuesday 9th/March/2021 to answers of threatening violence and protesting on the streets including burning president Museveni posters and t-shirts on the streets in Entebbe.

    Kabwama and other ruling party supporters were earlier this year summoned to the State House to meet the party chairman also president of republic of Uganda, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni over the internal squabbles within the party organs in Entebbe.

    Kabwama walked out of the meeting with the president nodding his head after his submissions were watered down following the  street protests and riots around the town corridors where one person was also shot bullets in the scuffle.

    The outgoing divisional boss walked from the presidential meeting heartbroken after all his efforts were frustrated to the top  office.

    Kabwama contested with several others in the mayoral race including former area parliamentarian Muhammad Kawuma, Ken Simbwa (ANT),Oliva Nassuna (NUP),Incumbent Mayor Kayanja(DP)
