Mayor Vincent Kayanja Depaul is   sitting on a time bomb yet to explode after frustrating his own party members under the Democratic Party in Entebbe.

“The town boss is on the spot after making his own party members  ‘eat dust’ like snakes  following his chameleon politics that has split the party into factions including promoting the ‘denial policy’ in the clan.

We have highly established that the “man of God” Kayanja was voted into office 10yrs after throwing out former NRM political brand Stephen Kabuye to be the Mayor of Entebbe and since then he has been enjoying bread and butter.

It has not been an easy walk for Kayanja and after serving two terms in office, the ball is running out of  hand after faulting the party principles.

Kayanja’s 10yrs experience in office has  sparked a bitter-row after several party members jumping over his throat for  breaking the party principles and refusing to step-down to give other members room to enjoy the political vacuum.

“The heat-up stems from Kayanja not giving room to outgoing divisional chairman Stanley Namayirira Kapeere for the  mayoral seat ahead of the 2021 general scientific elections”, said source.

Kayanja’s political puzzle has frustrated several  potential leaders that would take over his office seat including Andrew Wani, Innocent Ssewakambo and others we are yet to identify.

Several party members and individuals have been politically “killed” following a special report compiled by whistle blowers.

    ????????????????????????????????????

In the list of disgruntled members includes:

1- Hon Kawuma Muhammad quit the Democratic Party after being frustrated by  Kayanja’s propaganda/chemical. And at one time its alleged Kayanja mobilized a gang of wrong elements at the Central market to ‘displine’ Kawuma once he steps the market area.

2- Hon Sadiq Mukasa quit the democratic party after  Kayanja frustrating political ambitions over religious lines and being a staunch Muslim ( as if being a Muslim is a crime)

3- Kizito Muhammad quit active politics for  not being loyal on addition to  being a Muslim (as if everyone should be a catholic)

4- Steven Kugonza was disappointed for being a close blood to former parliamentarian Kawuma

5- Jonathan  Wamala dropped his political ambitions for Kyeyo after realizing that there was nothing in municipal council.

6- Viola Nampijja abandoned her political career and now struggling to make ends meet.

7- Kasule Wasswa lost his political appetite and went abroad after tasting the wrath of the current divisional chairman  Mutebi Kabwama Kabwama

8- Stanley Namayirira was frustrated on the last minutes by a “lion hearted” Kayanja. He made sure that Namayirira is beaten everywhere in the party because he was a big threat to him in the party

9- Ssekawoya Arafat fell-out with democrats and dropped even the party to join the people power movement and more so his religious background failed him from holding the party ticket for the divisional seat at Zone ‘A’.

10- Kakembo Mbwatekamwa is cursing like hell and chasing his dream of being an Mp in a different party (NUP) after he was frustrated for all these years.

Others on the heat-list include former division ‘B’ chairman Anthony Segujja, Councilor Semazzi,Elvis Ssewakambo,Kibirige Tadeo, Councilor Margaret Namakula,Gyaviira Mutagizi,Abas Kasawuli.
