    Match Day 2 – Tuesday, 8th December 2020 Results:

    KCCA 8-0 Onduparaka

    URA 0-0 Soltilo Bright Stars

    Busoga United 1-3 BUL

    Match day two of the 2020-21 StarTimes Uganda Premier League progressed on Tuesday, 8th December 2020 with five matches on the menu.

    A total of 20 goals were scored in the five games played, three of these matches ended with a winner and loser as two games were stalemates.

    KCCA’s 8-0 humiliation of Arua boys Onduparaka at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo, Kampala produced the most goals, the best since 15th February 2017.

    New signing Brian Aheebwa led the assault with 4 goals. Sam Ssenyonjo added the other three (hat-trick) and a rare strike from left back Herbert Achai galvanized the score-sheet.

    Coming to this match, KCCA,  a side that is coached by Mike Hillary Mutebi had triumphed 2-1 in the opening game away to Bright Stars at the Kavumba Recreational Stadium in Wakiso.

    Aheebwa and Ssenyonjo were again on target for KCCA before new recruit Joseph Akandwanaho got the consolation for the home side.

    Meanwhile, Police and Jinja based BUL both recorded identical 3-1 scores over MYDA and Busoga United respectively for their opening victories of the season.

    Whereas Police earned the victory away from home at the King George Stadium in Tororo, BUL hammered their rivals Busoga United at the FUFA Technical Centre- Njeru in Buikwe District.

    Wakiso Giants rallied from behind to earn a point off visiting Kyetume during the 2 all draw at the Wakiso Resource Centre, Wakiso.

    The contest between Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) and Soltilo Bright Stars ended goal-less at the Arena of Visions Stadium (inside Ndejje University main campus) in Luweero.

    Match day two winds down on Wednesday, 9th December 2020 with two games on the card.

    Record league winners, Sports Club Villa (with 16 titles) host Mbarara City at the Bombo Army Military Stadium.

    On the same day, army side UPDF will visit newly promoted Kitara at the Kavumba Recreational Stadium.

    UPDF humbled Busoga United 3-0 during their opening match on match day one and Kitara recovered from a goal down to draw with Kyetume in the one all draw at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru last week.

    The reigning champions of the league, Vipers are yet to play any match.
