Sheikh Mufti Ramadhan Shaban Mubajje is bitter with Muslims burying, days later than the ‘quranic’ way.
Mubajje made the remark at the last burial ceremony of Haji Muhammed Kayongo Nyago over the weekend at Lwabenge, Kalungu district.

“Muslims have started their own culture of burying them at their own will” said Sheikh Mubajje.He made the comment following a burial trend of wealthy Muslims in this country.
This follows after the recent burial send-off of former Kampala city lord mayor, Haji Nasser Ntege Ssebagala that took days before his last send-off.
‘The dead are dead and why keep them like heavily angels’ queried Sheikh Mubajje. He noted that keeping the dead is torturing the dead who will never resurrect back to life.
‘Keeping the dead has never been one of the Muslim or quranic doctrines despite wealthy Muslims turning mousy and foxy.

Mubajje warned about the global pandemic choking the world and commented about the presidential elections slated for 2021.
