


Entebbe Municipality Mayor Vincent Kayanja Depaul is seeking for third term after serving two terms in office.The opposition politician of the Democratic party is begging for one more 5yrs term and say bye-bye to politics. The development has sparked a bitter row after division ‘B’ chairman Stanley Namayirira joining the mayoral race ahead of time.The duo are contesting for the same seat and from the same political party which has sparked a heated row as the NRM party is fronting different faces including division ‘A’ chairman Micheal Kabwama Nyamayalwo and Herman Kasozi Kiruwero while other parties are still hunting for credible leaders to carry their flags.The question of who is the next mayor will be answered by electorates and voters on the D-day as battles rages between Mayor Vicent Kayanja Depaul and division ‘A’ Micheal Kabwama Nyamayalwo the biggest threat in the Mayoral race with scores high on several government projects and programs including the construction of the new division head offices and the re-roofing of the central market under his office term. He said during the press conference that the two projects are his dream come true before quitting office for mayorship. Kayanja is working around the clock as the municipality is waiting to be listed under the city status. Namayirira is banking on becoming the mayor and has a comparative advantage if the party members don’t betray him on the last minutes. Party members are stilling weighing -options to replace him to fit into Mayor Kayanja’s shoes who is still fighting his way-out to bounce back for third term which the party is stilling contesting.Also in the same mayoral race is former Leon island back-up singer Isaac Nsimbe popularly known as Diziza carrying the people power flag
