Dr. Benon Biryahwaho’s Centre for Private Health and Social Adjustment will officially start handling HIV/AIDS related cases after Ministry of Health accredited his facility on Monday. The accreditation was handled by Dr. Vennie Mbazira, the Ministry of Health Aids Control Program (ACP) officer who had a one on one interaction with the big man Dr. Benon. She toured the facility and found it in order with all the necessary medical equipment in place including qualified staff to handle the HIV/AIDS Cases.
Dr. Benon revealed that the accreditation will give Center For Private Health the authority to specifically handle HIV/AIDS patients who will receive official clinical assessment and appropriate treatment with Antiretroviral Drugs (ARVs). He said that patients will be treated for free because Government through Ministry of Health has already sorted out the bills.
