A 76 year old Nigerian woman identified as Aniugo Agnes Egonna and her 35 year old daughter identified Aniugo Gloria Vera are breathing behind cells in Kigo Prisons after they were nabbed Last week on Friday smuggling in suspected Heroin and Cocaine at Entebbe International Airport. The duo was nabbed last week on Friday by Aviation Police cops as they tried to smuggle in their four suitcases with their cocaine and Heroin that had been smartly packed and hidden in the suitcases. The Kampala Metropolitan Police Publicist Emilliano Kayiima paraded the four suit cases plus the banned drugs and the two criminals before the media on Wednesday at the Aviation Police Headquarters in Entebbe and revealed that both the Mum and daughter were each carrying 5kgs of Heroin and cocaine valued at Shs1.365 Uganda Shillings each.

Kayima also revealed that the two criminals who jetted in last week on Friday aboard an Ethiopian flight from Lagos, Nigeria via Addis Ababa were headed for Kampala to attend the son’s introduction ceremony who hooked up a Ugandan Girl.
He disclosed that Police has enough evidence to pin down the criminals in court after the Director Public Prosecutions (DPP) had sanctioned the files in court.
“We have enough evidence to pin the criminals in court. The DPP has already sanctioned the files in court and they will be charged with Drug Trafficking. We are glad that the new narcotics law gives Police the powers to “bite”. They will have to face the law”, Kayiima added.

Meanwhile early last week two South African women were also arrested at Entebbe International Airport smuggling in Cocaine and Heroin.
