On Friday hundreds of thousands of mourners turned up in Kasambya village, Gomba District to bid farewell to Doreen Tashobya, a last born daughter to Hon. Rose Tumusiime, the Entebbe Municipality Member of Parliament whose life was tragically cut short after a speeding truck knocked her dead on Monday at Muzinga Park together with Patrick Businge, a foster child of the Tumusiime family. Family, relatives, friends from all walks of life and several high ranking government officials gave moving eulogies about Doreen Tashobya, a sweet little girl who at her tender age of 23 had a bright future ahead of her.

Present at the Burial were IGP Gen. Kale Kayihura, Gen. Elly Tumwine, Government Chief Whip Ruth Nakabirwa, Wakiso Woman Member of Parliament and Minister for Primary Education Hon. Rose Mary Sseninde, several Members of Parliament and Late Doreen’s former class mates at St. Lawrence.
