On Wednesday President Museveni visited and consoled Hon. Rose Tumusiime’s family, the Entebbe Municipality MP after her daughter Doreen Tashobya and Patrick Businge’s lives were suddenly cut short in an accident involving a truck and a motorcycle on Tuesday at the Muzinga Park a few meters away from State House Entebbe.
First Lady Hon. Janet Museveni and Minister for Education wasn’t able to join the family but sent a condolence message of five million shillings (Shs5m) that was delivered by the Hon. Rose Mary Sseninde the Wakiso Woman MP and Minister of State for Primary Education.
“Doreen was only 24 years and had just completed her undergraduate studies at Makerere University Business School (MUBS). It is sad that we have lost very young people who had a promising future ahead of them.
I pray the family finds strength in this trying moment” President Museveni said.
Doreen will be laid to rest in Gomba District on Friday while Patrick Businge will be laid to rest today in Kyenjojo District.
