The Entebbe International Airport Das Handling Cabin groomer Florence Ajwang (Mama) was on Thursday laid to rest in her ancestral home in Lira District after she succumbed to cervical cancer. The Das Handling manager breathed her last in Mulago Hospital on Martyrs day where she had been hospitalized over the life threatening cervical cancer. For the last two years she has been on and off and receiving medical attention in several hospitals over the life threatening illness.
Das handling staff and Management mourned her passing and described her as one of the longest serving company staff who mentored several junior staff. She is survived by a widower working with the Ministry of Agriculture and seven kids.
