The Out-reach Christian Center Ministries Chief Director Rev. David Mutebi a resident of Kigungu ward in Entebbe is in hot soup after police in Entebbe busted him in a child trafficking deal. The crafty pastor was on Wednesday arrested by police in Entebbe after he had trafficked over 80 kids from Insigiro District under the guise of getting them free primary Education in different schools around the city and Entebbe including Marine Primary School, Nsamizi Primary school, Airforce Primary school and Entebbe Vocational Institute. Three months ago the cunning pastor travelled to Insigiro District and duped several parents and local leaders in the district that he had secured free Education for needy kids and students around Entebbe. The desperate parents handed over their kids to the foxy pastor and paid lots of unspecified sums of cash as registration fees after they were brain washed.
The 80 kids plus a few parents were rescued by police cops after they were found abandoned at the Entebbe Vocational Institute with their luggage. Police cops who were supervising and monitoring the LCV polls at a nearby Katabi polling station on Wednesday stormed the Entebbe Vocational Institute after they saw a global coaches bus Registration UAR 337M packed at the institute for several hours since 2pm.
Upon interrogation over the kids, the crafty pastor made lots of uncoordinated statements and sweated plasma from head to toe including in his pants after he was grilled to the bone marrow. The Entebbe Miracle Center Church pastor Aaron Mutebi and the Airforce primary School authorities couldn’t identify the crafty man after he claimed he had been in contact with them. Police cops recovered Shs 2.6m from the 57 year old man after he was squeezed to vomit all the cash he had fleeced from the desperate parents. The desperate kids were ordered to travel back to Insigiro District while the crafty pastor was also escorted back to Insigiro district police station to answer several charges including obtaining money by false pretence, fraud, uttering false documents and impersonation.
The Entebbe Police station CIID Boss Joseph Sentamu confirmed the incident and warned parents and local leaders to be careful with their children and always watch out for masqueraders. He said that the pastor was plotting to abandon the kids at the vocational Institute and vanish to unknown destination with the cash. We have positively learnt that the pastor is behind bars in Insigiro police cells while the kids were safely handed over to their parents.
