    Veteran Nollywood Actor Mr. Ibu Dead at 62 Years

    Mr. Ibu, a renowned Nigerian veteran film actor, has on 2nd March 2024 passed following months of ailment.

    The actor, whose real name was John Okarfor and was 62 years old, succumbed to a long-standing illness that resulted in the amputation of some of his limbs.

    Reports indicate that Mr. Ibu breathed his last at Evercare Hospital. His demise marks the end of an era for the veteran comedian, who had a significant impact on the film industry.

    Throughout his career, Mr. Ibu starred in numerous movies and served as an inspiration for aspiring young actors across Africa, encouraging them to pursue film acting.

    Since the news of his passing broke, countless fans have expressed their condolences through various social media platforms, fondly recalling the movies in which the late actor showcased his talent.
