Singer Spice Diana has expressed her sympathy for renowned events promoter Biggie Events, who was sent to prison over an uncleared loan of Ugx 70 million.
Spice Diana, during a YouTube interview, revealed that Biggie Events was more than just a promoter; she was her close friend. When she saw the news on social media, she immediately tried to reach out to her, but couldn’t, as she had already been taken to jail.
I don’t know most of her friends, but I know her personally. When I had issues, she called to check on me. I feel sorry for her, and it is too bad. I pray God helps her to come out of it. I feel sorry for a woman who tries to start something for herself, only for it to go sideways. She didn’t rob anyone, but the business went bad, you know, loans. I pray she gets out of it.
Biggie Events was sent to Luzira, where she’s expected to serve up to at least six months or settle the debt. Spice Diana revealed that she was not only planning on visiting her in prison but was also considering contributing to help her pay the debt.

She also called upon her industry friends to work together to lift the financial burden from her.

I saw they want 70 million. That is why I would like to visit her and see what we can do. I also call upon everyone who has worked with her and is her friend to stand with her. Loans are bad. I have huge loans. We do business in loans. You cannot avoid it if you are developing yourself. But too bad for her. I will do what I can, even when they do not look for me.
