Musician Sheebah Karungi has opened up about the struggles she has faced since giving birth and her efforts to return to her career.
Late last year, Sheebah Karungi announced that she would be taking a break from the industry and concentrating on motherhood after welcoming her son, Amir.
Following her return to active music after close to six months, Sheebah confessed that she is struggling to juggle motherhood and being back on stage. Speaking in a one-on-one YouTube interview, the self-styled Karma Queen revealed that a lot has changed now that she has a child.
Among the challenges she faces is her son clinging to her when she has to work. Just like any other mother, this hasn’t made things easy for her.

She, however, revealed that she was handling her new roles as a mother quite well and would soon be able to adapt to her new life.
“Honestly, I was scared too this time round because giving birth is something different. It changes the woman’s body, mind, and everything in their life. It wasn’t, and it is still not easy for me to balance both. Sometimes he refuses to let me go. I’m still struggling to strike the balance, but I think every mother does so; I’ll be fine,” she said.
