The Uganda Police is on a serious hunt for a suspected homosexual called Alex Kasujja, 25 who went on the run in June 2021 following the arrest of his partner-in-crime James Mugalu.
It was reported that Kasujja and Mugalu were caught having a gay intimate moment in 2021 and after a heavy beating and serious battering by an angry mob, Kasujja escaped first to a distant village in Masaka and went into hiding.
To this date, the whereabouts of Kasujja remain unclear and unknown at large.

Background:
With the enactment of a harsh Anti-homosexuality law that criminalizes same sex relationships, the Ugandan government has turned a deaf ear to global condemnation and continued to make life hard for members of the LGBTQ and their sympathizers.
In September 2024 and after languishing in prison for a couple of years, James was brought to court to initiate his trial but the investigators still have a huge task of gathering more evidence relating to the prime suspect Alex who is still at large.
Since his mysterious disappearance after the discovery of his abominable gay relationship, Alex Kasujja is rumored to have escaped abroad for safety.
