The National Unity Platform (NUP) has announced that they have no plans to suspend use of their signature red beret, saying that it does not belong to the army. Eleven of the twenty-two people who were arrested by Police over sex partying on Saturday have been charged and convicted. Security forces led by the Uganda Police Force have this Wednesday morning raided the National Unity Platform party (NUP) headquarters in Kamwokya, Kampala. The area which houses presidential hopeful Bobi Wine’s main office was stormed by security forces at around 11:30am.
