Musician Aaronx has opened up about his struggle to find love and settle down with the women he loved.
Aaronx, who has mastered the art of singing about love, revealed that he has faced numerous rejections from women who didn’t find him desirable and good-looking. What broke him the most was the time he invested and then walked away empty-handed.
I have suffered with love and relationships. I have never received true love. Maybe I fell in love, but the people I was with were not. I was a very tiny man with an afro. I wasn’t this good-looking. I was so undesirable. I have tried to settle with someone and do things that I hope women want, but no chance.
Aaronix reflected on one of his previous girlfriends whom he loved the most during his struggling years. He was sleeping at the studio and didn’t have a house of his own when he invited her over for a visit.
When she saw his living condition, she ended the relationship immediately because she couldn’t handle his financial state. Despite pleading with her, she refused to reconsider and advised him to work hard and be like John Blaq, a statement he says has tormented him to this day.

She came to the studio and asked where I was sleeping. I told her that every time people left the studio, I would put my mattress down and rest. I vividly remember her reaction. She told me she wouldn’t go on with the way I was looking, where I was asleep.
I kept telling her that I would work hard, and she told me I needed to be like John Blaq. Even up to this time, that statement still hurts me. I do not know why she said that, but she left me there. I cried a lot.
