Western Uganda-based singer T Paul, real name Taremwa Paul, has spoken out on rumors of his alleged beef with Ray G.
Paul and Ray G are two of the biggest giants in Western Uganda, with each commanding a huge fanbase. Lately, however, there have been rumors that the two were secretly beefing, each claiming dominance in the region.
T Paul, while speaking to journalists, denied the allegations, accusing their own fans of starting the narrative.
He revealed that as artists, they are friends, but they each had a huge fanbase rallying behind them and fighting for their artist to be the best.
He further explained that he stayed away from feuds with fellow artists because they always caused divisions amongst fans, thus pulling the already struggling industry backwards.

“That is all brought about by the fans. Sometimes they love us too much and create these narratives. But as artists, sometimes we do not have any issues because we are in the same market. You will ruin it if you start like that kind of life because you will be dividing the fans in this young industry. As artists, we are friends but fans have their personal choices of who they love and in the process, they end up that way,” he said.
