Renowned events emcee and artist MC Fish has revealed that he is battling liver problems, which he believes were brought about by excessive use of alcohol.
MC Fish was a popular figure on television as a presenter and also a comedian. He emceed several shows and released music that crowds loved.
Years later, he has appeared on Spark TV crying for help following a complicated diagnosis with his liver. Armed with his medical documents and results from the scan, MC Fish revealed that he constantly fell ill before he was taken for a scan.
The results confirmed that his liver was damaged by what he believes to be his excessive consumption of alcohol.
“It started as a joke but later became a serious issue. When I went for a scan, they found my liver so damaged. Waragi caused it. I have lived an alcoholic life right from my grandfather. I started drinking when I was 14 years old. I encourage all the alcoholics to first have a meal before drinking,” he said.

Right now, he is seeking financial help to get proper medication from a big hospital. However, due to a lack of funds, he is currently surviving on daily medication to ease the pain he is going through. He appealed to his old friends, especially those abroad, to come through for him and help save his life.
“At this point, I’m not financially stable and I call upon all well wishers to help me. I know there are very many good people out there ; I need to live and I promise I will never drink again. Toolman, Ronnie Banton, General Mega Dee; I’m begging for your help. You wouldn’t want to find me dead.” he said.

MC Fish further revealed that he is currently living a lonely life even in his illness after his wife of six years abandoned him.
“My wife left me because of the late hours I returned home. I step out of the house at 8AM and come back at 4 in the morning. They had been together for six years and had sired 7 children. The pastors took my wife away from me,” he said.
