Gospel singer Gabbie Ntaate has spoken out about the judgement and criticism surrounding her and her faith as a Seventh-day Adventist.
Gabbie Ntaate took the stage at the recently concluded Gospel VIGA Awards and responded to the question that she said had been raised a number of times.
She described it as a painful and personal issue mainly because the exclusion was coming from the Born Again Christians who have continuously judged her because of her denomination.
“When the Lord was raising me, there was a lot and unfortunately it was coming from the church. The scrutiny that was coming was that she was not born again. I know some of you still ask if I’m born again. I will speak for myself and the Christ that I serve. When the public was crucifying me, the Lord raised more of me and his church,” she said.
Gabbie Ntaate maintained that as a Seventh-day Adventist, she stands by the teachings and the truths in the Bible, emphasizing one of the Ten Commandments that teaches about observing the sabbath.
“In the Adventist Church, there is no message outside the Bible. We stand with the Bible and nothing else. We do not baptize children when they are little because Baptism should be chosen. The message of the Adventist is to bring people to Christ. Tell me, why are we being crucified for keeping the only Sabbath in the Bible? Let this stop, for if ever I sang to you a song that brought you to another God but Jesus Christ, then crucify me. I’m tired,” she said.
The gospel singer further noted that she doesn’t condemn Christians for choosing Sunday as their day of worship despite it not being written in the Bible, because she believes they are all one body in Christ.

“I do not condemn you for worshiping on a Sunday because I was saved and it didn’t matter on what day. I stand with you because you stand to say Jesus is God,” she said.
She ended her speech asking fellow Christians to desist from questioning her faith or crucifying her for what she believes in.
“That is my truth. From this day forward, I will not address it anymore. Leave me alone. We are one church,” she said
