Congratulations are in order for singer Ykee Benda, real name Wycliff Tugume, and his wife, Emily Nyawira, upon the birth of their first child together.
Ykee Benda announced the good news to his fans and followers on his social media platforms, revealing that a son they named Ukwezi Hallelujah Benda had been welcomed on Saturday night.
“Well, isn’t God faithful. 26/09/26. Ukwezi Hallelujah Benda has joined the struggle. Mukama Wamanyi,” he shared on X. His comment section was filled with congratulatory messages from well-wishers.
The news about Emily being pregnant was confirmed last month when the couple stepped out with her visible baby bump.
Ykee Benda and Emily Nyawira took a significant step in their marriage with an introduction ceremony last year.
