The Uganda Police have confirmed the arrest of the man behind Afrigo Band singer and proprietor Moses Matovu, alias Papa Moi.
Moses Matovu lost his life this morning, 24 September 2026, at Kibuli Market Zone B, in Makindye Division, Kampala District.
According to the Uganda Police report, Matovu sustained serious head injuries, and efforts to rush him to save his life at Kibuli Hospital proved futile.
According to reports, Matovu had a one Rose Tumusiime at her rental unit; little did he know that he was being trailed by Nsamba Vincent, who allegedly attacked him over having an affair with his woman.
Following the incident, Rose Tumusiime was apprehended by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officers and taken to Kibuli for questioning.

Further investigations led the police to Nsamba Vincent, a 41-year-old man who was hiding in Ochanga Ward, Yesu Amala, and is believed to be behind assaulting and leading to Moses Matovu’s death.
The police confirmed Nsamba’s arrest, revealing that investigations are still ongoing to bring all those responsible to justice.
