Rapper Navio’s PA, Raven, has come out to set the record straight on allegations linking him to assaulting a former employee.
For the past few days, social media has been awash with video clips of Navio’s former employee, Sam, who accused him of assault and confiscating his property.
Speaking in a phone interview, Raven dismissed the allegations, stating that Sam was using the claims to bounce back in the media since the incident happened in 2022.
Giving Navio’s side of the story, Raven revealed that Sam, while still employed at the rapper’s home, stole from him and also committed fraud in his businesses. When Navio found out, he took him to the police to retrieve his money, but he failed to pay him back.
Sam agreed to sign a commitment that he would give the rapper his household properties and only get them back after he had raised the money that he had defrauded.
Raven expressed his disappointment in Sam fabricating stories against Navio despite the good things he did for him. He claimed that he picked him up from the streets, paid his rent, and fed him, but he chose to turn against him.
“What hurts us the most is that we saw how much Navio helped that man. He got him off the streets and even started feeding him from his own home with his own food. He paid his school fees but he cannot even appreciate him for that; he was there for him. He paid his rent, supported him through it all. But he went ahead to steal from him. Navio got to know and took him to the police to settle the matter. He accepted that he was wrong and begged for forgiveness. Navio agreed to let him go but wanted his money back. He lied that they took his property by force because to leave the police, he had signed an agreement that he would have them back after he refunded the money,” he said.

According to Raven, Sam was spreading lies about Navio out of spite because he refused to have him back despite all the begging and pleading.
“I know he has failed with the business he had started and wants to get back here. Navio was his boss and took him in like his own. What he is doing is not right. He is looking for sympathy because he is seeing the trend of people attacking Bebe Cool. We have been quiet all along but we decided to address it this time and tell people the truth,” he said.
