The announcement was made Thursday during an official courtesy visit by Racheal Magoola and her team to the Uganda Breweries Limited headquarters in Luzira. Magoola’s Still Shining show is set for Friday, November 27, 2026, at Kingdom Kampala, in an event honoring the star’s 60th birthday and her trailblazing musical career.

This milestone event will also serve as the launchpad for the Rachel Magoola Foundation, marking the artist’s commitment to extending her legacy beyond music and into lasting social impact.

“Magoola is a national treasure, and we are proud to stand with her as she celebrates this monumental milestone,” said Roy Tumwizere, Brand Manager for Mainstream Spirits, Uganda Breweries Limited.

“When you think of the authentic Ugandan sound, you think of Racheal Magoola. When you think of the authentic spirit of Ugandan celebration, you think of Uganda Waragi. Both our brands share a legacy of decades shaping national identity and preserving what it means to be Ugandan.”

Racheal Magoola, famed for timeless anthems such as Obangaina and Eyauni Emaali, broke onto the national scene as a powerhouse vocalist with the legendary Afrigo Band before establishing a celebrated solo career that bridges traditional music and urban sounds.

This collaboration is a continuation of Uganda Waragi’s “So UG” campaign dedicated to celebrating Ugandan pride, authenticity, and creative excellence.

The veteran musician and cultural icon spoke during the visit saying, “‘Still Shining’ is a tribute to our shared culture, our heritage, and the people who keep the Ugandan spirit alive. It’s an honour to have a brand that has stood beside Ugandans in celebration for 60 years with me on this milestone.”

The concert will feature a full experience, including bespoke Uganda Waragi mixology inside the event’s Taste of Uganda Lounge, along with a Heritage Walk and various cultural showcases.
