Media personality and actress Stella Nante has announced her departure from NTV after two memorable years at the Serena-based media outlet.
Stella, who was hosting the daily Mwasuze Mutya morning show, announced she was closing this chapter with a heart full of gratitude in a heartwarming post on her social media platforms.
She thanked the Nation Media Group for the opportunity they gave her and the station viewers who had made it a point to tune in every morning to watch.
Stella quitting the show comes after the station’s Head of Broadcast, Flavia Tumusiime, shared on her X, asking fans of NTV to give their honest opinion about the show and what they think should be changed.
Many suggested that the show host (Stella) should be replaced, comparing her to the former show host, Faridah Nakazibwe, with many believing that Nante’s resignation was influenced by reading the comments on the post.

She, however, revealed that she had been considering quitting the show for the past two months, after considerable thought about the direction she wanted her career to take.

Stella further made it known that she is currently exploring a new path, and she felt it was necessary to focus on them.
“Leaving Mwasuze Mutya is therefore not a departure from growth, but a step into another phase of it. The show has contributed immensely to my journey as a media practitioner, and I carry with me the experience, confidence, relationships and lessons these two years have given me. I believe the opportunities ahead will build on that foundation, challenge me in new ways and add significantly to my continued career growth,” she shared.
