Renowned veteran singer and radio personality, Rebecca Jjingo, has revealed that she keeps her children off camera out of fear of social media bullying.
Rebecca, during an interview with Spark TV, cleared all doubts from people who thought she didn’t have children just because she never posts them. She noted that her daughter was a full graduate, keeping her age and other details under wraps.
She revealed that she hides such private information about her children from the public as a way of not only protecting their privacy but also their innocence. She explained that social media was always quick to insult other people’s children, something that she couldn’t withstand.
According to Rebecca, she has witnessed social media users insult innocent children, and she would not want her kids to go through that.
“Social media should leave my children alone. My children are not for the camera. They will reveal themselves on their own terms but I will not do it. You will abuse my child and I will get so angry with you. I never play when it comes to my children; so it is better to leave them where they are. I see people on social media insulting other people’s kids and it hurts me. You can insult me all you want but you never touch my children. I hate people who insult children,” she said.

Rebecca, during one of her interviews, has always confessed that she is overly protective of her daughters from predators.
