The Serendipity Street Party is set to return on September 13, 2026, with a vibrant new edition dubbed “Summer Splash,” promising to transform Kampala’s Guvnor Streetside into a Caribbean-inspired party destination.
The upcoming event will embrace a strong Caribbean theme, with the venue expected to take on a tropical island atmosphere through music, décor, and entertainment.
This edition will celebrate Dancehall and Jamaican culture, highlighting the influence of Caribbean sounds on Uganda’s contemporary nightlife. Organizers also say the event will serve as a major end-of-summer celebration for members of the Ugandan diaspora visiting the country.
Serendipity Street Party has established itself as a premium nightlife experience, attracting prominent African and Ugandan entertainers. Previous editions have featured artists such as Mike Kayihura, Kivumbi, Bruce Melodie, and South African DJ Leehleza, alongside leading local DJs and performers.

The “Summer Splash” edition follows the success of the April “Let’s Go Vegas” party, which drew significant attention from Kampala’s entertainment and nightlife scene.
Adding to the anticipation, organizers have released a teaser poster featuring the silhouette of a mystery headline act. The identity of the artist remains undisclosed, with the reveal expected to generate further excitement among fans.
