Singer Omulangira Suuna has expressed disappointment after allegedly not being appreciated enough for how much he contributed to King Michael’s career.
Omulangira Suuna, over the years, repeatedly claimed that he is the producer behind King Michael’s hit song “Muko Muko,” which helped push Michael’s career to the top.
Suuna believes he deserves recognition for his contribution to King Michael’s career but was disappointed when he was not mentioned anywhere in his speech.
According to Suuna, Michael approached him after he had finished working on some of the songs of Radio and Weasels’ famous album that featured their collaboration, “Nakudata.” By then, he was more of a deejay under his label Dancehall Crew.
“He begged me to help him the same way I had done for the Radios. I was more of a producer than an artist and helped many artists; some of them made it and the rest didn’t,” he said.
This happened between 2005 and 2006, and in this period, Suuna claimed he was producing for many other artists but was not doing it commercially. This was because he believed none of them had the budget to match his price.
Over the weekend, Micheal had his concert, and even when he wasn’t invited or mentioned among those that supported his career, Suuna showed up in support of his fellow artist.

“He never talks about me because that is how Ugandans are. He has his reasons as to why he does it that way, and it is up to him to remember those that have been there for him and also ignore the others. He didn’t mention my name. That is how Ugandans are; we never want to appreciate those who deserve it at the right time. That is what has pulled our country backwards,” he said.
