Renowned businesswoman and reality TV star Mami Deb, born Deborah Nantongo Cleave, has opened up on how she runs her home, noting that she doesn’t contribute to household bills.
Mami Deb made the revelation during a quick Q&A session on her YouTube channel, where she was answering the frequently asked questions from her fans.
When one of the fans sought to know the kind of bills she pays for in her home, she candidly revealed that all the bills are currently being covered solely by her husband, Michael Cleave, leaving her to focus on her businesses.
Mami Deb and Michael Cleave got married in a glamorous wedding ceremony in the Maldives a couple of years ago and have since become one of Uganda’s most admired entrepreneurial couples.
She described her husband as a very intentional man who didn’t allow her to spend any dime to take care of their home needs.
“I’m married to a very intentional husband, and we do not do bills. I do not know what a bill is. Though when it comes to my business, it is my business,” she said.
While she says she doesn’t pay household bills, Mami Deb has built an impressive business portfolio of her own.
She is the founder of Boujee Boutique, co-owns Sage Farm with her husband, serves as an executive producer on several reality television shows, and has secured multiple brand ambassadorial partnerships. She has also hinted at more business ventures that are yet to be unveiled.
