Rapper Fik Fameica has given his fans an update on his highly anticipated collaboration with Nigerian superstar Wizkid, hinting at the fact that it might not be happening anytime soon.
When Wizkid performed in Kampala way back in 2017, he was impressed by Fik Fameica’s talent and suggested that they do a collaboration, sparking excitement among fans.
Years later, however, there has not been any progress, and speaking to Sanyuka TV, Fik Fameica revealed that it was a dead end and encouraged his fans to stop waiting for it.
While he did not completely rule out the possibility of working with Wizkid in the future, he encouraged them to focus on the music he is currently working on, saying that there might be more exciting projects and possible collaborations in the works.
“Do not dwell on this collaboration and do not anticipate for it. Just look out for what me, as an artist, is cooking because I might even bring a bigger and better collaboration than that one,” he said.

During his recent interview, Fameica noted that Wizkid’s management requested a budget of around $100,000, which he couldn’t afford.
