Congratulations are in order for musician and beautician Sherry Matovu after she said yes to her lover, Absalm.
The proposal took place in private gardens with not so many people around. Before Sherry made her way to the ceremony, Absalm was seen practicing the entire proposal, going on one knee, and what he would say to his soon-to-be fiancée.
Dressed in all black, Absalm was seen kneeling in a decorated space filled with pink roses and candlelight. On the other end, Sherry Matovu, who looked clueless, was accompanied by her close friends to meet her big surprise.
Dressed in a long black dress, she looked smart for the night as she received her big bouquet of flowers from her man, who popped the big question.
Sherry, who was visibly excited, immediately said yes amid cheers and live jazz, creating a romantic atmosphere that fit the moment.
The beautician found Absalm after moving on from her failed marriage to her ex-husband, Thadius Katumba, whom she confessed had refused to grant her a divorce despite the two having gone their separate ways.

Despite all this, she revealed that she planned to introduce her man to her parents’ home, citing that she believed he was the right one for her. She described Absalm as a man of few words and many actions; a man who supported her dreams and had been patient with her throughout the storm.
