Dancehall singer Buchaman has opened up on the dynamics he uses to run his home and marriage, emphasizing that he doesn’t give his wives money for home maintenance.
Buchaman openly admitted that he doesn’t leave “Kameeza” money, as is the norm in almost all African homes. Instead, he said, he only gives his women money depending on the good things they have done for him as a sign of appreciation.
In his defense, the singer revealed that he doesn’t believe in giving money to his partner as a routine expectation. To him, financial support is a reward for the effort and care his partner shows him.
Buchaman has previously confessed to being a proud polygamous man with many wives and more than one home. Leaving money for all of them on a daily basis would be so expensive for him.

With this, he decided to venture into farming, and through his farm, he supplies food to all his families equally.

“I do not leave Kameeza money behind. We are farmers, and all the food comes from the garden. Your “Kameeza” are the good things you do for me that I appreciate and tip you for. But not a daily routine; I kicked those things out of my home. Do you know what it means to have many wives and leave money behind for them? I farm, get the food, and take it home. My only Kameeza is school fees and the like, but for home, I make sure I provide the food,” he said.
