Swangz Avenue signee Azawi, real name Priscilla Zawedde, has revealed that she is scared of Ray G because of how crazy his fans can get.
A couple of years ago, Azawi and Ray G clashed during a performance in Mbarara before reconciling and making peace. Azawi, who had arrived earlier and waited up to 2 hours for her turn to perform, was interrupted by Ray G, with support from his fans. Being a non-violent person, she chose to let the issue go because chaos had erupted on stage.
Since then, however, Azawi confessed that he was afraid of being on the opposite side of Ray G because of his fans, whom she described as crazy.
Despite reconciling and having no bad feelings between them, she has done everything to avoid clashing with him again. When she performs at the same venue with Ray G, Azawi says she makes sure he is well catered for and given the stage at his choice.
“But now I know him, when I step on stage, and he tells me to get off, I step down immediately and let him sing; even give him the microphone I have. I was so scared, and anything that threatens my life is not worth it. I make sure that the superstar is well catered for because I know what can happen if he is not happy. If their fans sense any type of situation, they can easily go crazy,” Azawi said.

Azawi revealed that she grew up in the ghettos and had her boys who would easily go to war for her in case she was attacked by anyone. She, however, chose to let it go, noting that she was out of that era of goonish behaviors, which would easily lead to deadly violence.
“They told me to give them a green light, but I said that was not the way I operated. It was just a small misunderstanding that we were going to sort out. I have a crazy fabbse but I told them we do not do that. If I see them like that, I calm them down because I know it can get deadly,” Azawi said.
