Musician Ava Peace has addressed stiff competition with Sheebah Karungi, noting that the industry has enough fans and room for everyone to shine.
Ava Peace was responding to a Galaxy TV journalist who was seeking to know her view on viral claims that Sheebah Karungi purposely allowed young artists to shine while she was away for maternity leave.
Ava Peace laughed off the claims before deeming them ridiculous. She revealed that they were both actively releasing music, and her breakthrough was just her time to shine and not because of Sheebah’s musical break.
“Please leave me alone. I believe that before, when she was still active, I was singing. There is no change in that. We both still sing, and I believe there is enough room for everyone to shine and be a star,” she said.

The Team No Sleep singer also bragged about being one of the most booked artists in Uganda. She emphasized that she was not under anyone’s pressure to release songs, as she is always looking for something new to give her fans. She encouraged her fans to continue supporting her by hiring her and streaming her music.

“I think I’m one of the most booked artists in Uganda. And please don’t stop booking me. No one pressures me to release music, as I want to give my fans the best. I keep coming up with something special,” she said.
