Musician Phoebe Nassolo has vowed to drag her sister Betty Mpologoma to the courts of law over alleged defamation.
Earlier this year, social media was left in shock following reports that Betty Mpologoma threw her sister and fellow singer Phoebe Nassolo in jail over allegations that she stole their mother’s cows.
She claimed that Phoebe sold the cows and took all the money, something that blew the entire family apart, leaving their mother in the hospital in shock.
While addressing members of the press, Phoebe cleared her name and denied the allegations, emphasizing that the court was handling the case and the truth would be revealed.
Phoebe asserted that Betty’s accusation stemmed from a bad place because she was their mother’s favorite, and she (mother) always defended her.

Nassolo further noted that the allegations ruined her image and she would soon consider suing Mpologoma for defamation of character.
“I do not have a serious problem with Betty Mpologoma, but she loves accusing people without evidence. She presents a different image, yet her heart is different. She falsely accuses others. I will sue her, and I will make sure I coordinate with a UK Promoter to bring her back to these charges of spreading false information about me and trying to destroy the name that I have built for years. How could she claim I stole my mother’s cows? I have always supported my mother and defended her, but they wanted to destroy my name for her to hate me. They wanted to separate us, so they stole from her, but I thank the court for handling the matter well,” she said.
Phoebe Nassolo thanked her fans and musician Eddy Kenzo for standing by her and fighting for her freedom.
