Mpaka Records proprietor and musician Ykee Benda has publicly apologized to his ex-girlfriend and baby mama Julie Batenga following his introduction.
Ykee Benda, a week back, was officially introduced to his long-time girlfriend Emily Nyawira’s family in a star-studded, colorful ceremony.
During his TikTok live broadcast, he took time off to apologize to Julie for all the mistakes that he made while they were still together.
“There was a lot to learn. I was young and made many mistakes. I want to apologize so much to that lady. But I cannot do this forever; I apologise, then give myself a chance.
I wish her the very best in her life. People, you will always make mistakes. You will hurt someone else, or they may hurt you. I ask you to forgive yourself and forgive them, too. Go out there and give yourself a chance. God gave me a chance,” he said.
Ykee Benda and Julie Batenga dated for some time, and their relationship resulted in a baby boy known as Dante Tugume.
He believed in settling down with one woman before he became a star, and as a result, he visited Julie’s parents’ home in traditional kukyala.
Ykee, in an interview, confessed that he had the attention of many girls because of his celebrity status, and as a result, they frustrated each other.
The couple bitterly fell out, walked separate ways, and Ykee Benda recently cemented his relationship with Emily with a colorful introduction ceremony.
