Socialite Don Zella has sent words of advice to heartbroken Hajat Kulthum, urging her to consider healing before moving on to her next partner.
In a lengthy post on her Facebook page, Don Zella recalled when her husband passed on in 2022. Since it was harder to start her new life journey, she took time off to focus on herself and her children. But the first few years were challenging to navigate.
Don Zella revealed it was better for Kulthum to first deal with the mental breakdowns that came with losing her previous husband, Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata, before she remarried. She described Hajjat Kulthum as a beautiful, educated, and good woman who had made the great decision to move on from Acram, which had previously held her back.
“May Allah give you strength to reflect on everything Allah has given you, most importantly your children, family and friends. You will go through this because Allah doesn’t make mistakes,” read part of her post.
Yesterday, Hajjat Kulthum officially announced her decision to end her marriage to Acram Gumisiriza. In a letter shared publicly, Kulthum expressed the difficulty of making such a decision. She highlighted the importance of honesty, self-respect, and personal peace.

She emphasized that she had engaged Sheikh Abdul Rahaman Serunjoji and her family to oversee the divorce proceedings in accordance with Islamic teachings and cultural practices.
