Uganda music legend Bebe Cool visited the gigantic Africa Coffee Park in Rweshamire, Ntungamo district – Western Uganda.
Flanked by the wife Zuena, Bebe Cool was also accompanied by the famous Gagamael army as the group was well received by the CEO, Inspire Africa Group Dr. Nelson Tugume.
“I am very impressed by the on-going developments at the Africa Coffee Park. To have the largest coffee park in Africa is no mean feat. We need to support the project as Ugandans” Bebe Cool called.
The group then had a guided tour around the vast facility led by the Public Relations Officer Asuman Kigongo, also the vice chairperson of Ntungamo district.
Heavy machinery installed at the facility from the sorting machines, roastry (sigma roasters), ground packers, capsule machines, drip coffee machines,, extractors, freeze driers to vacuum freeze driers were all visited.

“The Africa Coffee Park in Uganda will revolutionize Africa’s coffee trade boosting exports, cutting dependence on raw bean exports, and keeping value on the continent. It will also ensure rural farmers mostly women smallholder farmers enjoy an improved market access and have improved knowledge of better farming techniques.” Dr Tugume revealed.

Uganda is among the world’s leading coffee producers in the entire world.
The well established coffee value addition facility is therefore key for better market access.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni joined by the Kenyan counterpart William Ruto will officiate at the official opening of this facility.
There is a coffee marathon lined up on 24th May 2025 covering the varying distances of 42KM, 21KM, 10KM and 5 KM.
This marathon is expected to lure elite runners given the hefty prize money attached to a tune of Ug.Shs 116,000,000.
After the marathon, there will be the Coffee concert that will be graced by Uganda’s finest musicians.
Bebe Cool leads the star-studded list of artists that also has Eddy Kenzo, Truth 256, Ray G, Diamond Platinum and others.
