Bro Ronnie Makabai has warned Ugandans against the growing vice of celebrating the death of others, especially their leaders.
Following the death of former Security Minister Elly Tumwine on 25 August 2022 at Agha Khan Hospital, Nairobi, Kenya, a section of Ugandans embarked on jubilating over his death for reasons best known to them.
Bro Ronnie who was not impressed by the gesture portrayed by Ugandans took to his Entebbe-based Church and preached against the immoral behavior.
According to the man of God, it is not right and against the will of God for someone to jubilate over one’s death, even when the deceased is their enemy.
He went on to note that if Ugandans continue to celebrate the death of their leaders, it may negatively impact the country as leaders may not do the right thing.
