Tororo woman legislator Sarah Opendi has asked the government to stop all musicians from accessing schools for concerts.

She says the musicians dress indecently and pull off seductive dance moves which affect the mental health of Students.

“Some go there almost naked,” she told journalists after expressing her views in the parliament.

Mrs. Opendi said that the dances and the dress cord bring shame yet the children look up to the musicians.

“Parents bring their children to learn morals and values. You cannot pull off those dances we see musicians do in school. It is very unfortunate that we have witnessed videos of nursery children dancing the same moves” She said.

She urged the musicians to sing for students songs that are impactful to their lives.

The chairperson Uganda woman parliamentary association also asked the Ministry of Education and sports to come up with guidelines for musicians who visit schools.
