Over 7,000 Shell customers have been rewarded with fuel and airtime worth 30,000,000 in the ongoing nationwide 10 Weeks of cheer reloaded promotion, aimed at rewarding loyal motorists and infusing extra cheer throughout the holidays and beginning of the year.
In addition to the instant rewards, 12 weekly draws have been held across the country where customers won jackpot prizes of fuel worth UGX 2,400,000.
Speaking at the handover ceremony of the prizes to the lucky winners at Shell Bweyogerere, Vivo Energy Uganda Fuels Brand Manager Mark Mutungi thanked the customers for trusting the Shell brand.
“We sought to put the harshness of 2020 behind us, as we reward our loyal customers. We appreciate the huge number of customers who have participated in this promotion and encourage all motorists to continue using Shell FuelSave Unleaded or Diesel even beyond the promotion and enjoy peace of mind knowing your car engine is protected. ”Mutungi said.
The winners expressed their appreciation and joy on receiving their fuel and airtime prizes. MosesOwori stated that she feels extremely lucky to have been one of the jackpot winners among so many other participants. She added that this reward has motivated her to continue her loyalty to using Shell fuels which she has been using over the years.
Mutungi encouraged all motorists on the sidelines who think that that the promotion is not real to take a chance and participate.
The 10 weeks of cheer promotion commenced on 11 December 2020 and will run until 19 February 2021. To participate in the promotion, customers have to purchase Shell FueSave Unleaded or Diesel worth UGX 10,000 for motorbike riders or UGX 50,000 for other vehicle motorists at any of their preferred Shell service stations. The customer champion at the pump will immediately enter their details into the promotional portal, and an instant SMS from 6445 will be sent to the customer indicating the prizes won.
