NRM party youth have pointed fingers in security organs after President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni monument going missing from the spot where it was erected last week in Entebbe.
The presidential monument was “stolen” by unidentified persons from the spot overlooking the Works playground. The monument was went missing after it was erected 2days ago by the Entebbe Technical Welders youth brigade. The angry youth woke up on Friday morning and found the monument missing and reported the matter to Entebbe police under file no. SD REF: 23/06/12/19.
The youth pointed finger at a cross section of individuals that could have plotted the ‘stealing’ of the monument with self interests. The youth brigade chairman, Daudi Kakooza said at the press conference that some clique individuals are fighting them from meeting the president and pledged to craft another presidential monument as an appreciation to the fountain of honor for the peace and security.
He begged the youth to continue supporting President Museveni in the coming elections ahead of 2021. He condemned the act of ‘stealing’ the presidential monument without taking into account the time spent and financial resources spent on the project.”
