Father Katende sad that parents have lost a sense of shame. “Many of the parents today dress badly and many of the children who have degenerated in their morals are from ‘Mizigos’, Father Katende stated.
He further added that because parents have abandoned their responsibilities, it’s now upon the teachers in schools to inculcate morals in children.
Father Katende was speaking during the confirmation ceremony held at queen of Martyrs Mpala catholic parish church in which over 200 children were confirmed including a one Sarah Nassali who recently was attacked by evil spirits in Kabale B Zone in Abaita Ababiri.
Father Katende was representing Kizito Lwanga who wasn’t able to attend the confirmation ceremony because of other engagements.
