Former Air Uganda security manager Opio Alfred Ekiriat is cursing life and crying crocodile tears ever since he lost his lucrative Air Uganda security job. The poor man and all the staff including the boss lost their juicy jobs and couldn’t believe their eyes after the Airline mysteriously shut down and stopped operating at Entebbe International Airport a couple of years ago. The poor fellas swallowed their raging bitterness and quietly left the Airport to start their new lives on the streets. While others chose to go back to the village to start ‘digging’, Opio chose to remain in the city and gamble his way out from all corners. The latest our street cops have gathered indicates that the fella has started a church identified as Hope Restoration Church located deep in Katabi Village in Entebbe and is preaching the word of God like crazy in addition to redeeming lost souls including drunkos, robbers and fornicators.
